The Buttock Lift is a procedure that not only removes loose hanging skin of the buttocks and lifts buttocks and fills. Relaxation comes from weight loss, age or after liposuction.
The operation briefly
The lift buttocks removes loose skin at the top of the buttocks leaving a scar hidden in underwear. This scar is almost always horizontal, with a shape that resembles the shape of underwear in women and completely horizontal in men. The scar ends in the front, usually combined with a tummy tuck.
Depending on the case, we combine surgical skin removal with the placement of buttock implants . These are special
Made inserts to withstand the stresses of the area and give volume backwards, so that the buttocks are clearly separated from the middle of the spine.
Also in cases where there is more weight than desired, we combine liposuction and fat injection in the buttocks (brazilian lift). Of course, here comes the possibility of placing buttock implants to have a more comprehensive treatment
the problem of sagging and falling buttocks. A pressure corset will be worn for about 3 weeks and drains may be placed, depending on local conditions. Sports activities will resume after 4 weeks.
The incisions are always hidden in the underwear. It is therefore important, in the preoperative preparation for buttock lift, to plan the operation, with patients wearing their usual underwear or swimsuit.
The lift buttocks leave incisions tend to heal very well and fade over time. They will initially be pink in the first few weeks, but then fade to white. The use of a special laser but also special films and silicone gel will help a lot . Most patients will develop extremely good quality scars over time.
Drugs / Smoking
The lift buttocks needs proper preparation, like any surgery.
It is always better if you do not smoke. If you are a smoker try to quit smoking for 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after surgery. If you can not quit smoking, you will definitely be able to reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke per day to 5, which will significantly reduce the chances of complications (bruises, bruises, swelling).
Do not take herbal medicines for about 10 days before surgery or for 3 days after (arnica etc.). Also avoid aspirin (salospir), 7-10 days preoperatively, and anti-inflammatory 3-4 days preoperatively.
The following are the most common but there are others that are mentioned in the international literature.
