The breast augmentation is short and comprises placing inserts below the breast. These can be placed directly below the mammary gland (subglandular) or at the level of the thoracic wall, below the major thoracic muscle (submuscular).
Access / incision, for implants, can be in the armpit, nipples or under the chest.
